Can you make a Drake AI video for free?
The free ways to make the Burning Bridges Drake AI video in CapCut, LightX, Dreamina and Higgsfield, what each free plan really gives you, and when paying makes sense.
Short answer: yes, you can make a Drake AI video for free, but every free route we checked gives something up. Either your face goes onto someone else's clip, the party is a new AI scene rather than the one from the music video, or the export is small or watermarked. Below is what each free option actually gives you, as checked on October 27, 2026. Free plans change often, so check the app before you count on any of this.
Free Drake AI video options at a glance
| Route | Free part | The catch |
|---|---|---|
| CapCut template | Free templates in the app | User-made, quality varies, paid templates need Pro |
| LightX template | 6 AI credits a day on the free Starter plan | Free exports are 512px; credits per video aren't stated |
Dreamina (image to video) | 120 credits a day for free US accounts | A newly generated party, not the music video; 720p; add the song yourself |
Higgsfield Genjutsu | No free plan we could confirm | You film your own clip first; about $2 for 15 seconds at 480p |
| This site | No free credits | $9.90 for one video |
Free Drake AI video with a CapCut template
CapCut is where most people start. Search for "drake burning bridges" in the app and you'll find templates made by other users, not by CapCut or Drake's team. They work in different ways: some put your face onto a clip someone else made, others just cut your own photos and clips to the song. Preview a few before you pick one; a template with the right name isn't always the party scene.
Free templates are free to use, and CapCut's Pro plan unlocks the paid ones. Look at the export before you post: CapCut's pricing page doesn't say whether free exports carry a watermark or what resolution they get.
Good for: a quick, free version for a group chat. Not good for: the actual moves from the music video, or your own outfit in the shot.
Free Drake AI video with LightX
LightX has an "AI Drake Burning Bridges" template on its website: pick a template, upload a front-facing photo, generate. Its own guide describes the result as vertical (9:16) and about 15–20 seconds long.
The free Starter plan gives you 6 AI credits a day with exports capped at 512px. LightX doesn't say how many credits one template video takes, and the "No watermark" line only appears on its paid Pro plan, so expect to need Pro for a clean, full-size export.
Free Drake AI video with Dreamina
Dreamina, from the makers of CapCut, works differently. It doesn't swap you into the music video. You upload your photo, paste the prompt its Burning Bridges page gives you, and its video models (Seedance and others) generate a new chandelier-party scene starring you. You then add the song yourself in an editor.
According to Dreamina's own blog (October 22, 2026), free accounts in the US get 120 credits a day, and free Seedance 2.5 videos come out at 720p. Removing the watermark is a paid feature. Dreamina doesn't say how many credits a video costs, since it depends on the model and settings.
Good for: a free clip that has the vibe of the party. Not good for: people recognizing the exact scene and moves.
Is Higgsfield free for the Drake AI video?
Higgsfield's Genjutsu tool made some of the earliest Burning Bridges swaps in mid-September 2026. It starts from a video you film yourself, 4 to 30 seconds of you doing the moves, and then restyles the person and the scene, or swaps only the parts you pick.
It isn't really a free route. Higgsfield's blog prices a 15-second clip at 40 credits, about $2.00, at 480p, and 104 credits, about $5.20, at 720p. We couldn't confirm a free plan that includes it. A cheaper Genjutsu Lite mode was added on October 20, 2026.
Why a one-photo Drake AI video usually isn't free
Generating 15 seconds of video that keeps a real scene's camera, guests and timing while replacing one person is expensive to run. That's why the free routes either reuse a finished clip, which is cheap, or generate a looser new scene at low resolution with a daily cap.
This site doesn't have a free tier either. A video is 150 credits, and the smallest pack is $9.90 for exactly one video. What you get for that is the original 15 seconds of the party: the point, the hand flick, the cup raise, the wave and the hands over the eyes, with you in the lead and the song kept. The output is a 16:9 MP4 at 480P with no watermark. If generation fails, the credits go back automatically.
Which free Drake AI video route should you try?
- Just want to join in today: try a free CapCut template first.
- Want a new party scene that looks like you: try Dreamina's free daily credits, and add the song afterwards.
- Want the real scene, the real moves and your own outfit from one photo: that's what the generator here is for. The CapCut vs generator comparison goes into the differences, and the tool comparison covers the paid options side by side.
Whichever you pick, use a clear, front-facing photo of yourself or of someone who agreed. The photo guide explains what works.
This site is independent and isn't affiliated with Drake, OVO or his label, or with CapCut, Dreamina, LightX or Higgsfield. Prices and free limits are as shown on each tool's own pages on October 27, 2026, and may differ by region.
