How to make the Drake AI video

The Drake AI video puts you at the chandelier-lit party from the Burning Bridges music video: swaying, pointing into the crowd, raising a silver cup and waving at the camera. There are three ways to make it. Start with the photo, then pick one.

The photo that makes a good Drake AI video

Every method starts from one photo, and the photo decides most of the result. These rules work for all three methods.

  • One person, face clearly visible. Crop group shots so only you are left in the frame.
  • Facing the camera. A straight-on face with both eyes visible holds up far better than a profile once the handheld camera starts moving.
  • Waist-up or full body. Your outfit carries over into the party, so include it. Empty hands are the safe choice: the lead holds a cup in the video, and anything already in your hand can blend into it.
  • Even, neutral light. The room in the video is already warm and dim. A photo with a warm filter or harsh shadows comes out muddy or orange.
  • You, or someone who agreed. No photos of public figures and no photos of anyone under 18.

Method 1 – Drake AI video generator (one photo, about 7 minutes)

The generator on this site uses the party scene as its base and puts the person from your photo in the lead, so the sway, the point into the crowd, the hand flick, the raised cup and the wave all land where they do in the music video. The song stays on the clip.

  1. 1Upload one photo

Scroll to the generator at the top of the home page and add one photo of yourself: JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB. Sign in with Google first if you haven't.

  2. 2Generate

Press Make my video. It costs 150 credits and takes about 7 minutes. The video is saved to My videos, so you can close the page and come back later.

  3. 3Download

Download the MP4, with no watermark, and post it. If a video fails or times out, the 150 credits go back to your balance automatically.

Method 2 – A CapCut or LightX Drake AI video template

CapCut and LightX both have user-made Burning Bridges templates. They are free or cheap and quick. But a template is a fixed clip with your face swapped onto someone else's body, so the moves, the outfit and the framing belong to whoever made it.

  1. Open CapCut or LightX and go to the templates section.
  2. Search for drake burning bridges or drake ai video and open a template whose preview shows the chandelier party.
  3. Tap Use template and add one clear, front-facing photo.
  4. Wait for the render, then export and post it with the song.

The catch

  • It's a face swap. The body, the outfit and the moves come from the template, and many templates only roughly follow the music video.
  • Free exports can carry a watermark or end screen, and some templates sit behind a subscription or a daily limit.
  • Length, framing and timing are fixed by the template creator.
  • Templates come and go. If one disappears, search again.

Method 3 – Write your own Drake AI video prompt

You can also build it yourself in a video model. Reference-to-video models (the Seedance or Kling kind) take a clip plus your photo and can be told to replace the lead. Image-to-video models only get your photo and a written description of the scene.

Start with this image-to-video prompt, with your photo as the start image:

Horizontal 16:9 video, one continuous handheld shot that looks like a phone camera at a private party. A warm, dim private dining room lit by a large crystal chandelier, dark wood and soft amber light, friends standing close around a long table holding silver metal cups, slightly out of focus. The lead is the person from the start image, same face, hairstyle and outfit, standing in the middle of the room facing the camera. The lead sways to the music, points into the crowd, flicks a hand toward the camera, raises a silver cup and waves at the lens, then covers their eyes with one hand. Handheld camera at shoulder height with slight natural shake, staying close on the lead, no cuts, no zoom. Natural skin tones. No captions, no subtitles, no text, no logos, no watermark.

A replace-the-lead prompt for reference-to-video tools, variants for a woman, a pet, a cartoon character and two friends, plus a negative prompt and settings, are on the Drake AI video prompts page.

Expect randomness. From a description alone the model invents the moves on every run, and the room rarely looks the same twice. Budget several attempts and keep the best one.

Common Drake AI video problems and fixes

The face drifts away from the person
The handheld camera keeps turning the face, and a weak photo loses it. Use a sharp, front-facing photo with the face large in the frame. In a prompt, ask for the face from the image to stay consistent in every frame.
The cup merges into the hand
It is more likely when the hand in the photo already holds something. Use a photo with empty hands. In a prompt, describe one silver cup in one hand and add "cup merged with hand" to the negative prompt.
Everything turns orange
The warm chandelier light pushes skin and clothes toward orange. Start from a photo with neutral color and no warm filter, and ask for natural skin tones in your prompt.
The faces in the background change
Models sometimes redraw the friends behind you. In a reference-to-video tool, say that everyone else stays unchanged. In image-to-video, keep the crowd soft and out of focus.

Short version: if you want the real moves from one upload, use the generator. If you want it free and don't mind a face swap on someone else's clip, use a template. If you enjoy tinkering, write a prompt.

Drake AI video FAQ

How long does it take to make a Drake AI video?

With the generator on this site, about 7 minutes from upload to MP4. A CapCut or LightX template takes a few minutes. Your own prompt usually needs several attempts, so it takes longest.

Can I make the Drake AI video for free?

Yes, with a free CapCut or LightX template or the free tier of a video model, but those either swap your face onto a fixed clip or invent the moves. The generator here uses credits: 150 per video, from one-time packs. New accounts don't come with free credits.

What size is the video?

The generator makes a horizontal 16:9 MP4, 15 seconds long at 480P, framed like the music video. You can still post it to TikTok or Reels; it just won't fill a vertical screen.

Can I put Drake or another celebrity in the video?

No. The site is for putting yourself, or someone who agreed, into the party scene. Photos of public figures and of anyone under 18 aren't allowed.
